Name a theme for this story and explain why you choose it?

A theme for "Of Mice and Men"i choose was friendship. Friendship is a bond that George and Lennie have but express in a different way. Although George yells and sometimes treat Lennie like a child he always apologizes to Lennie. They are all each other haves they know it and they and value it.Its them against everyone else. George could of left Lennie in weeds to be found in killed but he didn't, which show that George cares for Lennie. Although their friendship is unusual it's strong and that they care. Lennie and George are like brothers thats how strong their friednship is.
